#4 Juventus want Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
Juventus are desperate to bring Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Turin but are aware that negotiations with Lazio will not be easy. This is because Lazio value the player at €100m, despite the fact that he had an uninspired season. However, there’s no doubt that the Serbian is a terrific player and could even be an alternative to Paul Pogba, should the Frenchman fail to turn up at Turin before the start of the season.
However, Juventus are reluctant to pay such a high amount for Milinkovic-Savic, especially since the player has already agreed personal terms with the Serie A Champions, according to various reports. The club hierarchy thus believe that Lazio can be convinced to sell the Serbian for significantly less.
Lazio President Claudio Lotito revealed that they would allow the player to leave if all requirements are met.
#3 Juventus close to signing Adrien Rabiot
The PSG Midfielder is available for free this summer and has a host of suitors lined up for his signature. Rabiot is closely assessing his options, but recently suggested that he had spoken to the representatives of Juventus when he was in Italy. This had led to speculations of an impending move and now, it seems that the Frenchman could be playing his football in Italy next year.
Reports from Spain suggest that Rabiot has already agreed terms with Juventus and his arrival will be announced in July. According to Spanish News Outlet El Chiringuito, the Frenchman’s mother and agent are expected to earn around €10m from the deal, as a signing bonus. Rabiot is said to have agreed to a 5-year contract that will see him around around €7.5m per year.
The Frenchman’s teammate and former Juventus icon Gigi Buffon recently said that Rabiot would be perfect for Juventus. And we could be a judge of that statement next season.
#2 Juventus will use funds from Cancelo sale in de Ligt transfer
The Joao Cancelo saga has been continuing for quite some time now and latest reports suggest that Manchester City are very close to sealing a deal for the Portuguese. It was previously rumoured that Cancelo would be used to sweeten a deal for Paul Pogba, as United had named a sky high price for the services of the Frenchman. But latest developments had indicated that the Juventus right back might be moving to Manchester City instead.
A deal between the two clubs is pending, because Juventus are holding out for €60m, while City are only willing to pay €50m. And now it has been revealed that Juventus are desperate to get an amount closer to their estimated evaluation of the player, because the Serie A Champions want to use that money to fun the transfer of Matthijs de Ligt. A deal between the Dutchman and PSG has not completed yet and as such, Juventus are still hopeful of sealing the deal of their own.
#1 Sarri’s plans for Cristiano Ronaldo revealed
Maurizio Sarri’s plans for Cristiano Ronaldo has come to light in recent reports. The Italian’s appointment apparently had the seal of approval from the Portuguese Superstar, who will be looking to hit a higher gear in the upcoming season.
Latest reports suggest that the Italian will use one of two tactics at Juventus. The first is a 4-3-1-2, which is a formation he has used at Chelsea. Here, Sarri is willing to use Ronaldo as one of two forwards, with a playmaker operating just behind him. The other formation is a 4-3-3, which he also used at Chelsea, where Ronaldo will be used as a winger.
It is rumoured that Sarri is willing to utilize Ronaldo in the same way that he had used Eden Hazard, who enjoyed the best season of his career under the Italian and earned a move to Real Madrid. However, the only difference is that Sarri considers Ronaldo to be an even superior player and a better goal scorer. The Italian, as such, expects the Portuguese to score at least 40 goals in the upcoming season and is very confident that his system will enable Ronaldo to show his devastating form.
